ACVR Policies

1.3 QUALITY POLICY

ACVR Services Ltd was established in 1983 to provide Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Mechanical Services Installation, Design and Service to the building, commercial, retail and leisure industries. We are based in Leicestershire and employ 29 people.


Quality is important to our business because we value our customers. We strive to provide our customers with products and services which meet and even exceed their expectations. We are committed to continuous improvement and have established a Quality Management System which provides a framework for measuring and improving our performance.


We have the following systems and procedures in place to support us in our aim of total customer satisfaction and continuous improvement throughout our business: -


1. Regular gathering and monitoring of customer feedback 

2. A customer complaints procedure
3. Selection and performance monitoring of suppliers
4. Training and development for our employees

5. Regular audit of our internal processes
6. Measurable quality objectives which reflect our business aims
7. Management reviews of audit results, customer feedback and complaints


Our internal procedures are reviewed regularly and are held in a Quality Manual which is made available to all employees.


This policy is posted on the Company Notice Board. Though the Managing Director has ultimate responsibility for Quality all employees have a responsibility within their own areas of work so helping to ensure that Quality is embedded within the whole of the company.

Fairness, Inclusion and Respect (FIR) Policy

(Also known as the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Policy)

1. Introduction

ACVR Services Limited is committed to promoting fairness, inclusion and respect in everything we do. We value the diversity of our workforce and clients, and we strive to create a working environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

This policy outlines our approach to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and applies to all employees, workers, contractors, agency staff, and job applicants.

5. Responsibilities

The Company will:

- Take all reasonable steps to eliminate discrimination, harassment and victimisation

- Regularly review this policy and related practices

- Provide training and guidance on EDI as needed

- Investigate complaints fairly and take appropriate action

Managers and Supervisors must:

- Lead by example, treating everyone fairly and respectfully

- Challenge and report inappropriate behaviour

- Encourage inclusive practices within their teams

All Employees are expected to:

- Treat colleagues and clients with courtesy and respect

- Avoid and report any discriminatory behaviour

- Cooperate in creating a supportive, inclusive workplace


6. Unacceptable Conduct

ACVR will not tolerate any form of discrimination, bullying, harassment or victimisation. This includes but is not limited to:

- Offensive jokes or banter

- Excluding colleagues

- Unfair treatment or stereotyping

- Making assumptions based on someone’s background or identity

Any such conduct will be dealt with under our disciplinary procedures and may result in dismissal.


7. Recruitment and Selection

Our recruitment processes are designed to ensure fairness, consistency and transparency. Selection is based solely on merit and suitability for the role. Reasonable adjustments are available for candidates with disabilities.


8. Training and Development

All employees have equal access to training and development opportunities. We actively support career progression and aim to remove any barriers that may hinder advancement.

10. Raising Concerns

We will not tolerate victimisation of anyone who raises a concern in good faith.


11. Monitoring and Review

We monitor our policies and practices to ensure they remain effective and relevant. This policy will be reviewed at least every two years or sooner if required.
